Xiaodong Liu   Ph.D., Professor, Lab leader. He has been involved in studies of climate and environmental change of the earth's past, present and future, especially paleoclimate modeling related to the Tibetan Plateau and East Asian monsoon. Prof. Liu has published more than 100 scientific papers, of which more than 40 papers are in the SCI journals and cited by more than 1000 SCI papers.
Xinzhou Li   Ph.D., Senior Engineer, received B.S. degree from Jilin university (2002), M.S. degree  (Quaternary Geology, 2005) and Ph.D. degree (Quaternary Geology, 2008) from the Institute of Earth Environment, CAS. Dr. Li's research interests encompass modeling of past and present climate. He is currently responsible for the operation and maintenance of high-performance computing facility.

Zhengguo Shi   Ph.D., Associate Professor, obtained B.S. degree (Atmospheric Science) from the University of Technology and Science of China (2004), M.S. degree (Meteorology) from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, CAS (2007), and Ph.D. degree (Quaternary Geology) from the Institute of Earth Environment, CAS (2010). His research interests include paleoclimate and dust aerosol modeling.

Xiaoning Xie   Ph.D., Associate Professor, received B.S. degree (Physics, 2004) and M.S. degree (Physics, 2007) from the Northwest University (China), and Ph.D. degree (Environmental Science, 2012) from the Institute of Earth Environment, CAS. His research interests include cloud microphysics parameterization and modeling of the climatic effects of aerosols.
Libin Yan   Research Assistant, received B.S. degree (Atmospheric Science) from Zhejiang University (2006), and Ph.D. degree (Environmental Science) from the Institute of Earth Environment, CAS (2011). His recent research interests mainly include the interaction between the East Asian Monsoon and aerosols.
